What a really great trip my Son and I had with Fernando exploring the beautiful Greater Cao Valley. Fernando's knowledge and expertise on all aspects of Wildlife were second to none. We had a fantastic two days with Fernando from Wildlife Portugal, including the Coa valley rewilding sites. He's a knowledgeable, relaxed and responsive guide with a broad range of interests. Perfect for getting to know the real Portugal, visiting sites that we tourists would never find on our own or would not be able to access. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing day with Fernando. He wove the stories of ecology, rewilding, landscape and people through our trip. His knowledge of the natural world is incredible, and he complements it with great humour. We had great fun tracking wild boar and roe deer, saw kingfisher, griffon vultures and the free-roaming sorraia horses. Truly Wildlife Portugal are great ambassadors for the Wild Coa Valley and it's people!

Fizemos excelentes e interessantes passeios com Fernando nas áreas de rewilding de Vale Carapito e Paul de Toir es na sexta-feira. Fernando é um guia muito experiente que explicou sobre o rewilding e nos mostrou os cavalos Sorraia e muitas espécies de pássaros, incluindo a alarmante toutinegra Dartford, grifos e até paramos no caminho de volta para o hotel quando Fernando avistou uma pipa de asas negras. Obrigado Fernanda!

A wonderful encounter with the wild Sorraia horses, and exquisite observations of the native turtles in the wild. Bem equipado esconder para ter um incrível vue sobre abutres e aves de rapina que vivem na Reserva de Faia Brava. Nós nos encontramos na aldeia de Algodres e fomos levados para o esconderijo por land rover. Enquanto estávamos sentados, a carne estava espalhada sobre as rochas. Nós só tivemos que esperar 10 minutos até que os abutres descobrissem suas presas e atacassem maciçamente. Ficamos por 2 horas assistindo sentado em cadeiras de escritório convenientes atrás de vidro morroring para as aves não podia ver-nos. Uma verdadeira experiência de safári, não é barato, mas vale o preço.
